In line with its commitment to the health of future generations and its emblem of “Healthy family. Healthy Community”, AHS is leading a preventive health program to assess students’ health through the implementation of a “Comprehensive Preventive Examination” for a group of selected students. The program aims at the early detection of diseases that affect the student’s health and school performance and to maintain the health of the student at the required level, which in turn will have a positive impact on his/her education.
The target groups for this program are the first and fifth grade primary students, as well as the ninth grade (third Prep) boys and girls. The screening service is provided through AHS Ambulatory Care Centers in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, AHS mobile clinics, the first of their kind in the region, and school clinics.
The required medical tests are performed as specified by HAAD standards by experienced and dedicated medical teams.
